Blacksmithy Gains Fast and Slow Method

This stuff should work fine. I followed the cheap or less ingots method making spears till 91 or so then Plate Gorgets untill 91.5 then plate gloves till gm . I sold about about half of the spears or a bit more than half to NPC vendors since I did the entire Smithy training at the brit smithy without harrassment. I sold around 10,000 gp worth of crap then started smelting. All in all I used less than 50k ingots which is not to much I dont think. I made a simple Razor macro that made an item then smelted it by type then double click bread loaf and loop it. You will have to add in delays after each gump to allow time for your gump to show then to click. Usually 1 or 1.5 seconds is enough. Since you are not creating resources you can macro this afk. If you have doubts about afk macroing this then just page ingame and get a gm to assure you. Thats what I did. Myrd was very clear that I was using resources but not creating them.
EAT AND STAY FULL THE ENTIRE TIME. I BOUGHT BREAD LOAFS FROM THE BRIT BAKER WITH SOME OF THE GOLD I GOT FROM SELLING CRAP SMITHY WEAPS TO NPC'S.
EAT AND STAY FULL THE ENTIRE TIME REGUARDLESS OF WHAT ANYONE SAYS DIFFERENT

I sent MasterM my guide to post, but I will post it in here until he gets it up.

Blacksmithing (Real Skill)
50 - 55 Cutlass
55 - 60 Scimitar
60 - 65 Broadsword
65 - 70 Kryss
70 - 75 Katana
75 - 80 Short Spear
80 - 95 Plate Gorget
95 - 100 Plate Gloves

It took me 34k ingots, make sure you smelt everything you make. Otherwise it will take much more.

Make sure that your character stays full the whole time your smithing. As much as it can eat.

Blacksmithing made easy:
Start at 50 skill for the love of god start at 50 skill.
1. make short spears til 93-94ish
2. make plate gorgets til 97-98ish
3. make plate gloves til gm

Unfortunately I didnt count the ingots it took me, but my best guestimate is 50-60k

Now that I know about the eating til full variable, hell I probably wasted 10-15k ingots.

Disclaimer: if this has been changed there has been no notice given to the player base. I cant imagine Divinity staff/admins making any changes to crafting gains without posting a notice.
If it doesnt work either you are not staying full, you are not crafting the correct item, you are skill capped, you do not have REAL skill points set to go down or you have a bugged Blacksmith. The latter is extreamly rare and I would never believe anyone that stated that.
